KitBeam provides online utilities that run in the browser, on KitBeam servers, or through identified external data providers. This policy explains what data is processed when you use them.
What we collect
- Request data needed to run a tool, such as text submitted for formatting, a domain being checked, or an image or PDF uploaded for processing.
- Basic technical metadata sent by your browser such as user agent and approximate IP for rate limiting.
- Optional contact details if you submit our contact form.
How we use data
- To operate tools and return results quickly and reliably.
- To prevent abuse and maintain service quality through lightweight rate limiting and error diagnostics.
- To reply to support requests if you contact us.
Cookies
KitBeam uses essential session and request-verification cookies where needed. Advertising or embedded third-party services may set their own cookies subject to their policies and your browser choices.
IP & logs
Server logs may include an IP address and status code for troubleshooting and security. We do not build profiles or sell data.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Limited sharing can occur with infrastructure providers strictly to run the service.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest.
Retention
Uploaded images and most PDFs are processed in memory or temporary server files used to produce the requested download. Temporary files are given unique names and removed after processing where the tool implementation requires them. Operational logs may be retained for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
